about

Some may remember the long glissando that some cassette tapes came with at the beginning. I got one and played it at various speeds. You might find this one useful for testing VERY low frequencies, since it's 2 octaves lower than the original one. I think there is a bit of a phasing issue due to this, but it is still useful.

On my Macbook Pro 17-inch laptop speakers, I can't hear anything till about 9 seconds, the distortion doesn't stop till about 19, and the top end vanishes (to my 49-year-old ears with 13,800 Hz upper threshold) about 2 or 3 seconds before the end.
